Support
Write to support@ritora.io — we answer within two working days.
It helps to mention your app version (Profile, at the bottom) and what you were doing when the problem happened. The quickest way: Profile → Support — the letter opens with the version already in the subject.
Questions
How does a plan work?
Tell Ritora what is ahead — a doctor’s visit, an interview, a talk with a landlord — which language, and when. Ritora builds a plan that ends on that day: one scene a day, about half an hour. Each day you listen, repeat and answer out loud, then talk it through with a conversation partner who answers back. The words you meet stay with you for review.
What are word sets, and how do I share one?
Sets are collections of words on a theme: ready-made ones from the store, ones Ritora makes for you on a topic you name, and the words from your plans. Ritora brings each word back for review when it is about to slip. You can share a set with someone by code: they enter the code in their app and get the set in their own account.
What is free, and what does Premium add?
Free: your first plan and its first day, a few word sets a week and the starter sets. Premium (monthly or yearly) opens every day of your plans, new plans, conversations, the other ready-made sets and up to 20 sets a day. Prices are shown in the app before you pay; payment is through your Apple ID.
How do I cancel the subscription?
On your iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Ritora → Cancel Subscription. Or in the app: Profile → Manage subscription. Premium stays on until the end of the period you have paid for. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
I have a new phone — how do I get Premium back?
Sign in with the same Apple or Google account you used before, then tap Profile → Restore purchases. Your plans, words and progress are kept on our server and come back when you sign in.
How do I delete my account?
Profile → Delete account (at the very bottom), then confirm. Your plans, words, progress and settings are erased, and sets you shared by code disappear for the people you shared them with. Deleting the account does not cancel an App Store subscription — cancel it in Settings as well. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
Does Ritora work offline?
Partly. Reviewing the words you already have works without a connection, and your answers are sent once you are back online. Building a plan, opening a new day, conversations and loading new sets need the internet.
Which languages can I learn?
English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Polish and Romanian. Explanations come in your own language — Russian, Ukrainian, English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Polish or Romanian; not every pair is available, and the app shows the ones that are. The app’s own menus are in English and Russian.
How do I turn notifications on or off?
Profile → Notifications → Send notifications, and the time of the daily reminder just below. If iOS has said no to notifications for Ritora, turn them on in Settings → Notifications → Ritora.
Why does Ritora ask for the microphone?
You answer out loud: Ritora listens to recognise what you said and to let you talk with your conversation partner. The microphone is on only while you are answering or talking. You can turn access off in Settings → Ritora → Microphone; the speaking exercises will then not work. What happens to your voice is described in the Privacy Policy.
